Jubilee Weekend Milos MR1 Canopy Hire 2012

Stage Lighting Services have recently supplied our Milos MR1 Canopy roof System along with Steeldeck staging for Radyr and Morganstown Community Council’s Diamond Jubilee weekend concert.

“Radyr & Morganstown Community Council worked with SLS to run a Jubilee Prom concert in June 2012. We had a varied programme of pop bands, soloists, an adult choir and an orchestra of 51 musicians. One of our main aims was to give local young people an opportunity to perform on a professional stage with professional technicians. The event went extremely smoothly and was greatly appreciated by local people who praised the stage set up and the sound. As one of the event organisers I know that much of the success was down to the professionalism of the SLS team who were always helpful and endlessly patient. They were supportive of the young performers who were helped to sound great and came off stage saying, ‘It’s awesome up there!’. I would not hesitate to recommend SLS.

The Milos MR1 Outdoor Canopy Stage roof System is a 8m x 6m outdoor canopy stage. This is an ideal medium size outdoor stage for a performance or presentation. The useful stage area is approximately 24’ x 20’ (7.3m x 6m). The canopy is freestanding and is 4.95m high in the middle of the arched roof. The stage is approx 3’ high and has a black skirt around with set of treads up to it. 

The MR1 roof was created with small bands or street festivals in mind. Its special arched aluminium roof, which serves as the frame, gives it a dynamic look while allowing water to easily drain from the canopy. No more hassles with water pockets and problems associated with water build-up. It’s a temporary roof which provides you with a permanent solution.
