Rosco Fluorescent Yellow – 5782 – 0.946L

Available in 9 brighter than normal colours which “glow” vividly under ultraviolet lights, Rosco Fluorescent Paints can create a wide range of exciting effects. Rosco Fluorescent Paints can be used to create special effects using ultraviolet black light or combined with other Rosco Scenic Paints to make the colours more vibrant.

Rosco Fluorescents use the same high quality, water-base, vinyl acrylic binder found in Rosco Off Broadway Paints. It is suitable for use on most surfaces after the surface has been properly prepped.

Fluorescent Paints should be used straight out of the can, and diluted with water if necessary. Diluting this product will reduce the hiding power of the paint and may reduce the brightness of the “glow.” This product gives a flat/matte finish.

Rosco Fluorescent Yellow Paint should be used on a clean, dry surface that is free from dirt and grease. Porous surfaces, except fabrics, should be primed before this product is used. If painting a new plaster surface, prime wall with a commercial primer/sealer designed for raw plaster. To achieve the most dramatic colour effects, a white base coat should be used.

For application of Rosco Fluorescent Yellow Paint, stir contents well before use. Do not shake this product. Apply by brush, roller, or spray gun, and in thin, even, uniform coats, using a good quality brush or roller. Use overlapping strokes, keeping a wet edge. Fluorescent pigments will degrade from prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light. Avoid direct sunlight where possible.
