Hay Winter Festival 2019 Posted on 13th November 201921st October 2021 by stageadmin After the success of the Hay Summer Festival, we were asked provide equipment for the Hay Winter Festival 2019. WHAT IS THE WINTER WEEKEND? The Hay Winter Festival Weekend 2019 has been running for twenty years. It’s a smaller version of the main festival with events taking place in venues in the town. The 2019 Festival was the biggest and most high-profile yet. The town’s atmospheric market square is a focus of festivities. On the Friday, the Hay Christmas lights are turned on, transforming the town into a winter wonderland brimming with festive cheer. Accompanied by carol singing, readings and evening entertainment. On the Saturday, Hay Food Festival celebrates all that’s good about winter cooking. This included over 50 stalls showcasing the very best of local produce, from savoury to sweet. The Hay Market Square transformed into a festive outdoor artisan market. With a wide range of traders offering a diverse collection of local arts and crafts. Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival 2019 Posted on 20th July 201921st October 2021 by stageadmin Working very closely with Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival and a wide range of organisations and suppliers we were able to provide a comprehensive production, technical & site management service. This included Steeldeck staging, lighting hire & design, power distribution and onsite technical support. Also in conjunction with our sister company Stage Sound Services Ltd we were able to supply sound equipment, design and operation for Cardiff Open Air Theatre. Our Managing Director and Production Manager were onsite for the duration of the festival, leading our team of trained technicians to support this great event. UNESCO World Heritage Site Event 2018 Posted on 24th May 201821st October 2021 by stageadmin Working alongside Stage Sound Services we were able to supply a comprehensive technical package for the unveiling of the Lake district as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Both companies worked together to supply Steeldeck StagingPA Video Screens Complete onsite technical support The UNESCO World Heritage event outside Theatre By The Lake in Keswick, was attended by HRH Prince Charles; who gave the royal seal of approval to a decision taken by Unesco: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation. The national park in Cumbria joined 30 other sites in Britain and other major world landmarks; Including the Taj Mahal and the Grand Canyon when it was added to the list of areas with World Heritage Site status last year. The Solar Pessimist 2017 Posted on 31st March 201721st October 2021 by stageadmin Last week saw us installing lighting for The Solar Pessimist at Spit and Sawdust with The Kim Fielding Award. Working closely with Stage Sound Services; we were able to provide a complete technical package for this innovative and immersive installation. The lighting was programmed on an ETC Ion and the system was triggered by Qlab. This provided the client with the ability to playback the installation at the touch of a button.
